For safety, heat to an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F) as measured by a meat thermometer.
Avoid refreezing thawed or heated product. Once thawed, and if you intend to consume product within 3 days, it can be stored in refrigerator.
Procedure: Appliances and utensils vary; adjust heating times accordingly.
To defrost OR to use cold: Defrost Pepperoni Slices inside refrigerator until thawed. For quick defrosting, use microwave oven on defrost mode only. Defrost until thawed.
To use hot: Defrost Pepperoni Slices as given above, prior to heating. Preheat a lightly oiled pan. Fry thawed Pepperoni Slices over low heat, turning frequently through heating.
